You wanna hear ’bout that fancy YSL COLLEGE BAG, huh? Heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market. They say it’s a real doozy. Cost more than my whole garden, I reckon! But you know, some folks, they got money to burn. These YSL bags, they real popular. And this COLLEGE BAG, it is one of the kind.
I seen pictures of it. It’s all leather and shiny. Got that big YSL on the front. You know, like them letters them rich folks like. They used to call it Yves Saint Laurent, I heard, but they made it short now. Just YSL. Guess them fancy designers like to change things up, keep folks guessin’.
This here bag, the COLLEGE BAG, they say it’s good for carryin’ stuff. Books and things. Maybe even your lunch if you ain’t got nothin’ else to put it in. But mostly, I think the young ones just like to show it off. Walkin’ around like they own the place. These days, people care about that YSL logo.

Not like the general store down the road. They got everything you need there, but not these YSL bags. Nope. You gotta go to them special places for that. If you want a YSL bag, you have to go to those fancy stores.
I seen some girls, they carry these bags around like they’re some kinda prize. Heads held high, walkin’ like they’re on one of them runways. Me, I just use my old tote bag. Been good to me for years. Don’t need no fancy Yves Saint Laurent to carry my groceries. This COLLEGE BAG, it is popular, but not everyone needs it.
This COLLEGE BAG, it’s got a strap, I seen. You can wear it on your shoulder. Or across your body, like them mail carriers. Keeps your hands free, I guess. Handy if you’re carryin’ other things. Or if you just like to wave your arms around when you talk, like Mildred down the street. She’s a talker, that one. If you want to show off, you can take it.
They say this YSL, this Yves Saint Laurent, he was a real famous fella. Made all kinds of fancy clothes and things. Not just bags. Dresses and shoes and all sorts of things I can’t even pronounce. Stuff them movie stars wear. This COLLEGE BAG, it’s just one of his designs, but it’s real famous now.
Now, this leather they use, it’s supposed to be real good. Soft, like a baby’s bottom, I heard someone say. Not like that rough stuff you get on cheap bags. This YSL COLLEGE BAG, it’s made to last, I reckon. ‘Course, for that price, it better last a lifetime! Or two! My old boots have lasted me longer than most marriages, and they didn’t cost near as much as this bag. And I have seen many people have those YSL bags. They like to show them off.

But if you got the money, and you like that sort of thing, then maybe you should go on down to one of them Specialty Stores and get yourself one. Just don’t come cryin’ to me when you’re broke and can’t afford your groceries! You have to work hard to get your own YSL bag. If you don’t have money, just don’t buy it.
These young folks today, always wantin’ the latest thing. Back in my day, we were happy with what we had. Didn’t need no fancy YSL to make us feel good. But times change, I guess. Just hope they don’t forget what’s really important in life. And it ain’t no COLLEGE BAG, that’s for sure. But this bag, it really looks good. Maybe I should get one for myself. But it’s too expensive.
This YSL bag, if you want to remake, it is hard. You have to find the same leather, the same logo. It’s not easy. You need to find a good store to do it. Or you just go to those YSL specialty stores to get one. It’s easier.
