So, I got this idea to remake the Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG, you know, the one they have at the online store. I mean, I saw it, and I thought, “I can do that!”
Getting Started
First, I looked up a bunch of pictures online. I wanted to see it from every angle. Front, back, sides, you name it. I even checked out some videos of people showing it off. They say it’s a Saint Laurent Bag, a remake of the old Yves Saint Laurent one. Anyway, this June Box Bag, they have it in a bunch of different versions. Leather and stuff.
I also found out that this other brand, Quince, makes some pretty good dupes. Not exactly the same, but close enough if you’re on a budget.
Gathering Materials
Next, I had to get my hands on the right materials. I decided to go with leather because, well, it’s a leather bag! I found this nice piece at a local shop. It wasn’t cheap, but I figured it would be worth it in the end.
- Leather – a good-sized piece for the main body
- Lining fabric – something soft for the inside
- Thread – strong stuff to hold it all together
- Hardware – a clasp and some rings for the strap
Making the Pattern
This was the tricky part. I took some measurements from the pictures I found and sketched out a rough pattern on some paper. It’s basically a box, so I made sure to get the dimensions right. I cut out the pattern pieces and made a few adjustments until I was happy with it.
Cutting and Sewing
With the pattern ready, I traced it onto the leather and cut out the pieces. Then came the fun part – sewing! I carefully stitched the pieces together, making sure the seams were straight and strong. I added the lining to the inside, which was a bit fiddly, but I managed it.
Adding the Finishing Touches
Once the main body was done, I attached the hardware. I added the clasp to the front flap and the rings to the sides for the strap. Speaking of the strap, I made that from a separate piece of leather and attached it to the rings.
The Final Result
And there you have it! My very own handmade version of the Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG. It’s not perfect, but I’m pretty proud of how it turned out. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but hey, that’s part of the charm, right? This thing, they call it the Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG. But what is this bag? Just a box. A fancy box! It’s a good size, and it holds all my stuff. Plus, it looks pretty darn stylish if I do say so myself.
I heard they even have YSL Outlet Prices. Guess that means they’re cheaper there.
So, yeah, that’s my little project. It was a lot of work, but it was also a lot of fun. And now I have a unique bag that I made with my own two hands. Not bad, huh?

You know that brand, Quince? They make a decent YSL Bag Dupes. If you ask me, it is a good choice if you want to save some money.
I might try to make another one sometime, maybe with a different material or color. Who knows! The possibilities are endless.
