Now, about the design. This bag, it’s called the Small Prada Galleria Saffiano Special Edition Bag. Fancy name, huh? But it’s a beauty. There are all sorts of Prada bags out there – big ones, small ones, shoulder bags, mini bags, bucket bags, you name it. But this one, it’s special.
The process? Oh boy, where do I start? Cutting the leather was a task in itself. Had to make sure every piece was just right. Then came the stitching. Hand-stitching leather is tough, I won’t lie. But seeing it all come together? That’s something else. Putting in the hardware, making sure everything aligned – it was like assembling a puzzle. A very chic, leather puzzle.
And the final product? Well, it looks pretty darn good if I do say so myself. It’s got that classic Prada vibe, that Saffiano texture, and it’s just the right size. Not too big, not too small. Perfect for, you know, just carrying around the essentials.
Was it worth it? Making it myself, I mean. Absolutely. Saved a ton of money, learned a new skill, and now I’ve got a bag that’s pretty close to the real deal. Plus, there’s something satisfying about carrying something you made with your own two hands, you know?

Oh, and one more thing, there is also a Prada 2005 version sports a leather strap made from Prada’s signature Saffiano leather, but I like the 2000 version better, so I made the 2000 version.
